Clear Distractions
After following Zen Habits for quite some time, I’ve decided to give a minimalist lifestyle a chance and started reading their other blog, The Mnmlist.
I came upon this post about clearing distractions and although I’ve been an internet addict since my childhood, I am going to make a strong attempt to limit my internet usage to a minimum. My designated internet hour divided into two 30 minute intervals. I hope I’ll be able to wean myself slowly off the internet and more importantly to regain some order in my life. *crosses her finger*
I hope to gain a lot of order back in my life. I realize that I work too damn hard for my mortgage to let the clutter and chaos in my house takeover from me truly enjoying it.
On top of clearing the distractions, I’m also going to attempt to complete the minimalism in steps but taking on each step slowly. The first step is to stop the bleeding first by not buying unnecessary things.
