Twitter/Tumblr
So, you’ve somehow stumbled onto my twitter account! I just wanted to say, “Greetings and Welcome!”
If you’re really bored, check out my blog: http://lisayachang.blogspot.com/
I just wanted to lay down a few things about my twitter/tumblr and about me.
1. I created my twitter account to post random and daily things about my life. As of now, my life primarily consists of work, sleeping & eating. Sorry, I’m so boring!
2. I am an internet geek. I am addicted to my computer and with all the hours I spend online, I will occasionally have weird and random posts about the things I find.
3. Please don’t get upset if I don’t add you right away just because you added me to your twitter list. I will not add you just because you added me. Like most women, I require a little bit of foreplay before the action starts. This means if you want me to add you or for me to start talking to you, I require some type of interaction, discussion and or dialogue between us. Maybe after a bit of that, I’ll add you.
4. I will add you if I find your posts interesting and entertaining. You don’t have to be some celebrity or someone who is always saying witty things. Just someone who is real. For some reason, I’m just drawn to people and their lives. Everyone has a story to tell that is worth telling. Things that bore me are people who aren’t themselves (i.e. people who CONSTANTLY retweet other people and articles.) If you are retweeting quotes, articles and other people every couple minutes or ever hour, I most likely will not add you.
More random tidbits in no particular order:
People might initially think I’m a very social person, but actually, I’m very shy and quiet and rarely ever show my real side to people.
I enjoy traveling, eating at random places and seeing movies.
I’m learning to be independent and take care of myself.
I love my family and my dog.
I am somewhat addicted to work because it gives me a focus that I’m sometimes lacking my my daily life. Not to mention it pays the bills.
I am a lover of ramen noodles.
I am addicted to the internet. I don’t ever eat at home because I hate the cleanup process. I am now learning to cook at home for myself.
I usually try to be as blunt or straight as possible with people, which can often rub people the wrong way, but I believe that if people were truly are your friends, you should be able to talk to them frankly. I hope my friends give me the same courtesy.
I can’t stand babies or men who can’t “man-up” for things. Call me old-fashioned, but men should be men.
I’m obsessed with Dexter, Weeds and Californication.
I prefer Redbox/DVDPlay over Netflix, but still can’t come to cancel my account because of the diversity of films offered on netflix.
I’m love learning about people all over the world. I love learning about different cultures and about people’s life experiences. People in general fascinate me.
I love Target. I can spend hours aimlessly wandering that place. I hate Walmart. That place scares me.
I was always taught that everyone from the janitor to the CEO of your company deserves your respect until they have proven you otherwise. In other words, be nice to people.
I really hate drama. That’s the quickest way you’ll lose my respect. Usually once that has happened, I’ve found that it’s best to just let them fade out of your life. They’ll prove to be trouble or drama later in the future.
